Calgary Employment Specialist for Financial Coaching

Become a pivotal part of Prospect as an Employment and Financial Empowerment Specialist located in Calgary. This role involves providing crucial financial coaching and facilitating workshops to assist low-income participants.

This part-time position focuses on delivering trauma-informed and client-centered services, helping participants with financial goal setting, budgeting, and benefits navigation related to disabilities. You will conduct workshops, educate fellow staff members, and perform necessary administrative duties under the guidance of the Team Lead.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support individual financial coaching for personal goals

• Assist participants in navigating disability financial benefits

• Conduct financial empowerment sessions for groups

• Provide staff education about financial resources

• Manage administrative tasks and team meetings

Requirements:

• Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent experience

• Minimum of one year working with people with disabilities

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent organizational and teamwork skills
