Floater Youth Development Coordinator Role

Join McMan Calgary to support youth as a Floater Youth Development Coordinator. This impactful role fosters connections for youth aged 8-17 in safe, community-based environments.

You will work across two group homes, focusing on trauma-informed support and life skills development for youth facing complex challenges. Building strong relationships and providing a nurturing home are at the core of this role. Expect to engage with youth to help them achieve independence while addressing their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Uphold trauma-informed principles in daily caregiving

• Support youth with social skills, hygiene, and daily routines

• Organize physical, recreational, and educational activities

• Provide transportation for youth to community engagements

• Promote positive behavior and relationship navigation

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Human Services

• Relevant youth work or community experience

• Understanding of Indigenous histories and frameworks

• Strong crisis intervention and problem-solving skills

• Current First Aid and valid Driver’s License
