Navigator of Family Support Services

Join YW Calgary as a Navigator of Family Support Services. This enriching part-time position aids families in navigating available resources and overcoming barriers in Calgary.

Reporting to the FRN Supervisor, you will connect children and families to necessary services while developing individualized plans based on their unique needs. This role requires flexibility with alternating shifts and travel within the community as you help families meet their goals. Your strong advocacy and coordination efforts will ensure families receive timely support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide timely responses to families and partners

• Complete intake and screening assessments

• Help families identify their goals and priorities

• Coordinate referrals to community supports

• Follow-up to ensure successful service connections

Requirements:

• Degree/diploma in Social Work or related areas

• At least two years of relevant experience

• Proficient in client documentation maintenance

• Familiar with family support services and community systems

• Committed to culturally responsive services
