In this position, you will report to the Raido House Team Lead and collaborate with the Residential Casework Team. Your primary goal will be to assist youth (ages 15-18) in developing life and employment skills while fostering housing stability. You will support individualized care plans through direct supervision and creative programming, employing a trauma-informed approach to youth care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and support the youth in a home-like environment
• Model healthy behaviors and independent living skills
• Collaborate with team on youth goal plans
• Handle routine and crisis situations with a restorative approach
• Facilitate recreational, educational, and community engagement activities
Requirements:
• Relevant degree or diploma required
• Minimum 2 years' experience with at-risk youth
• History of thriving in fast-paced environments
• Police Information Check required
• Brain Story Certification an asset
