Navigator for Family Support Services

Help strengthen families in Calgary as a Family Supports Navigator at YW Calgary. This rewarding part-time role focuses on navigating community supports for children and youth.

The Family Supports Navigator is responsible for providing essential referral and coordination services to families seeking support from the Family Resource Network. You will utilize a family-centered, strength-based approach to help families identify their needs and access the right resources. This role requires collaboration with multiple community partners, ensuring a streamlined service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct intake and screening for families needing support

• Develop tailored service plans based on individual needs

• Facilitate referrals to community services and programs

• Follow up to ensure families connect to needed resources

• Address barriers affecting access to services

Requirements:

• Qualification in Social Work, Early Childhood Education, or similar

• Two years' experience in family support settings

• Familiarity with community resources and services

• Skilled in maintaining accurate client records

• Understanding of culturally responsive service approaches

Contribute positively to families’ lives by facilitating their access to critical resources at YW Calgary.
