You will work closely with families and multidisciplinary teams to provide individualized support to children with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, and Global Developmental Delay. Your responsibilities include leading engaging sensory activities and supporting skill development while using a company van to access community resources like playgrounds and libraries.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individualized, trauma-informed support to children under 6
• Plan and lead sensory activities tailored to developmental needs
• Support skill-building in social participation and self-regulation
• Foster active, outdoor play to promote less screen time
• Document progress and collaborate with families and caseworkers
Requirements:
• Certificate in Community Support, Disability Support, or related field
• Experience supporting young children with developmental delays
• Clear Police Information and Child Intervention Record Checks
• Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver's Licence
• Comfortable driving a company van
