SLGBTQ+ community. Leverage your advocacy skills and local network connections to support clients through their resettlement challenges.
In this well-rounded role, you will manage the entire client care cycle for 2
SLGBTQ+ newcomers. You will utilize your fluency in queer terminology to accurately assess needs and create effective service plans tailored to each individual’s requirements. Previous experience in facilitating support groups will enhance your ability to foster resilience and create inclusive environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess client needs through comprehensive intake interviews
• Monitor and evaluate implementation of case management plans
• Facilitate workshops and support groups for clients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize service delivery
• Redesign processes to continuously improve client outcomes
Requirements:
• Preferred degree or diploma in social services
• Two years of case management experience
• Direct experience with Queer/Trans communities
• Familiar with immigrant/refugee issues
• Strong community connections in Queer/Trans spaces
