In this essential full-time role, you will assist families as part of the Family Matters program, employing the principles of the Teaching-Family Model. Your aim will be to help families effectively meet their needs through comprehensive support, including parenting, budgeting, and personal advocacy. The position includes traveling to various areas, primarily covering Calgary and Airdrie with on-call duties as part of the program’s staffing structure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide key in-home support for families in need

• Improve family functioning through frequent visits

• Support families with child development and budgeting

• Maintain family files and document progress

• Advocate for families with community resources

Requirements:

• Relevant degree or diploma and experience required

• Must possess a clean driver’s abstract

• Flexibility for evening and weekend work

• Clean Police Information Check essential

• First Aid/CPR Level C required
