Position: Counsellor for Student Support Services
Join SAIT as a Counsellor focused on holistic student support services. This full-time position emphasizes crisis counselling and academic assistance within a vibrant campus.

In the Student Development and Counselling department, you will be instrumental in providing various counselling services to SAIT students. This position demands flexibility to address urgent needs while supporting student wellness through crisis intervention and program delivery. Engage in professional growth and contribute to a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide crisis counselling and academic support

• Assess risks and provide tailored interventions

• Lead crisis debriefings post-incident

• Develop workshops that support student wellness

• Consult with SAIT staff regarding student mental health

Requirements:

• Must possess a Master’s degree in Psychology or Clinical Social Work

• 2-3 years related experience in crisis management

• Active registration with a professional body in Alberta

• Experience with in post-secondary institutions

• Required liability coverage
