Key Responsibilities:

• Assess psychosocial backgrounds of newly admitted residents

• Build therapeutic relationships with residents and families

• Provide counseling and adjustment support services

• Utilize effective communication techniques during assessments

• Document significant life events and coping styles of residents

Requirements:

• Registration as a Social Worker under the Health Professions Act

• Bachelor of Social Work degree from a recognized institution

• Experience with geriatric populations is essential

• Familiarity with multi-disciplinary teams

• Current Vulnerable Sector Check preferred
