As part of the Beltline Outreach program, you will engage with vulnerable populations and collaborate with various partners to facilitate client-centered support. Your responsibilities include advocating for clients, conducting assessments, and providing transportation to safe locations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to advocacy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support clients with non-judgmental, empathetic assistance
• Engage in outreach and conduct sweeps in hidden areas
• Collaborate with community partners to coordinate care
• Advocate for clients and represent Alpha House positively
• Facilitate educational sessions and maintain professional ethics
Requirements:
• 2-year diploma or degree in Social Sciences or related field
• Knowledge of harm reduction and mental health systems
• Crisis management experience with vulnerable communities
• Class 5 Non-GDL driver license and clean driver’s abstract
• Ability to navigate challenging terrains to assist clients
