Availability for overnight and weekend shifts is key to this position. You will assess client needs, manage crises, and ensure a respectful environment in a high-impact setting. Your background in social sciences, crisis management, and community resources will enable you to provide vital support effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate admissions and discharges for intoxicated clients
• Monitor client safety, focusing on withdrawal symptoms
• Address crisis situations using de-escalation strategies
• Engage respectfully with clients during their stay
• Connect clients with treatment resources and support
Requirements:
• At least a 2-year degree in social sciences (or in progress)
• Physical ability to assist clients up to 35 lbs
• Valid Vulnerable Sector Search required
• Completion of FOIP and Patient Lift training
• Experience with addiction issues preferred
