McMan Youth Development Coordinator Position

Become a Senior Youth Development Coordinator with McMan Calgary & Area at Manhattan Place. This full-time role focuses on impactful, trauma-informed support for youth.

You will engage with youth ages 12-17 in a group home, enhancing personal growth and community ties. Your responsibilities include overseeing daily operations and mentoring staff to foster comprehensive development. This vital role ensures that every youth receives tailored support through a collaborative, wraparound approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide trauma-informed support for youth needs

• Manage daily operational duties of the home

• Accompany youth to essential appointments and activities

• Coach staff on de-escalation and intervention techniques

• Lead family engagement and wraparound planning meetings

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Human Services

• 2 to 5 years working with youth in care

• Knowledge of trauma-informed practice

• Strong conflict resolution and communication skills

• Valid driver’s license and First Aid Certification
