Become a Behaviour Interventionist at Monarch House, focusing on positive client experiences and skill development in Calgary. Join a dedicated team and make a difference in the lives of children and youth.
In this integral role, you will implement tailored programs designed by our clinical team to foster skill acquisition and decrease maladaptive behaviors. Your experience with children and youth will be essential as you work in community settings throughout Calgary, often during evening hours. Supporting clients with personal care and creating an engaging environment are key aspects of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement behavior intervention programs based on best practices
• Support clients in changing maladaptive behaviors
• Develop programs with clinical team input
• Maintain a safe and positive environment
• Provide personal care support when needed
Requirements:
• 1-2 years of experience with complex needs
• Education in Psychology or related fields
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Clear Criminal Record Check
• Strong communication skills
