Position: Case Manager with Housing Focus
Join The Alex as a Case Manager, guiding individuals toward housing stability in Calgary. Use your skills in addictions, mental health, and community engagement for transformative support.

This role in the Home Base program requires a dedicated professional to assist formerly homeless individuals. You will employ intensive case management to develop personalized care plans and support clients in navigating community resources. The position is a full-time six-month contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist individuals transitioning from homelessness to permanent housing

• Complete assessments to evaluate needs and risks

• Support clients with daily living skills and crisis intervention

• Collaborate with team members and community partners

• Transport clients and advocate for their rights

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field

• Experience in the homeless-serving system

• Solid understanding of Housing First and Harm Reduction

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Basic First Aid certification required
