This on-call role at the Calgary Youth Attendance Centre requires passionate individuals eager to support young offenders through meaningful supervision and programming. As a Correctional Peace Officer, you will conduct compliance checks, oversee community service placements, and collaborate with various partners to foster positive outcomes. Your commitment will positively impact youth while ensuring a safe environment for everyone involved.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise youth in community programs and compliance checks
• Conduct curfew checks to ensure adherence
• Facilitate youth community service placements
• Support educational and recreational programming
• Collaborate with probation officers and community partners
Requirements:
• High school diploma with 2 years of related experience
• Valid unrestricted Class 5 Driver’s License
• Clean criminal record and vulnerable sector checks
• Valid First Aid and CPR Certification
• Physically capable of performing required duties
