Senior Youth Programming Coordinator

Lead youth programming at Miskanawah as a Senior Youth and Cultural Support Worker in Calgary. Develop customized programs, offer educational strategies, and mentor staff to support youth effectively.

This full-time position emphasizes leadership in youth program development and facilitation. You will collaborate closely with the Diamond Willow Youth Lodge team to create impactful activities rooted in Indigenous traditions. The role requires you to model best practices, support staff through challenges, and ensure efficient program delivery while documenting all processes accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a role model for staff and youth

• Develop and lead youth-focused programs and activities

• Mentor staff in communication with youth and families

• Document program planning and evaluation processes

• Facilitate team check-in meetings for coordination

Requirements:

• Experience planning youth programs effectively

• Knowledge of Indigenous cultural traditions and challenges

• Flexible schedule availability, including evenings

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
