PBSH Caseworker

Position: PBSH Caseworker at Alpha House
Help individuals achieve housing stability as a PBSH Caseworker with Alpha House. This full-time role offers a compassionate environment for addressing addiction and mental health challenges during overnight shifts.

As a caseworker, you'll be part of a team focused on providing individualized care through a housing-first approach for those with complex needs. You'll utilize your crisis management and advocacy skills while demonstrating empathy and respect. This role is critical in supporting clients' journeys toward recovery and long-term stability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized care to clients in housing support

• Promote harm reduction and housing-first philosophies

• Manage crises and employ de-escalation strategies

• Build rapport and advocate for clients' needs

• Maintain confidentiality and comply with privacy standards

Requirements:

• Two-year diploma in Human Services or related field

• Experience with vulnerable populations facing addiction and mental health challenges

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Class 5 driver's license with a clear abstract

• Ability to assist clients physically, as needed
