Position: Full-Time Caseworker at Alpha House
Become an Overnight Transitions Caseworker at Alpha House, making a significant impact on clients facing homelessness in Calgary. This full-time role emphasizes client-centered support and recovery-oriented case management.

You'll engage with clients to identify barriers and develop personalized strategies for stable housing. As part of the Housing Transitions Team, your work will include case planning, community integration, and collaborating with resources. Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to ethical standards and client confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively address various client needs and barriers

• Assist with move-in logistics and scheduling

• Promote life skills and independent living strategies

• Ensure thorough documentation of client cases

• Support team collaboration and program community engagement

Requirements:

• Diploma in social sciences or relevant field

• Experience working with vulnerable populations

• Background in mental health or addiction support

• Familiarity with Calgary’s housing services and systems

• Ability to lift objects up to 35 lbs
