Position: Coordinator, Employment Services
Reporting to the Manager, Employment Services, The Employment Services Coordinator is responsible for the delivery of employment services programs offered to eligible WINS participants to prepare them for successful employment in the warehouse or retail industry. T his role works directly with participants, and coordinates with soc ial enterprise for curriculum development and practicum placement within WINS.
Specific   and Responsibilities:
Work closely with Employment Services Manager, and team as well as other WINS teams to support participant success and in meeting/exceeding program outcome and deliverables.
Manage the delivery of WINS Employment Services Program s (Warehouse Ready and Retail Ready) including, but not limited to :
Coordinate various aspects of the program to be delivered that will prepare clients for employment in the warehouse and retail industry.
Coordinat e closely with Social Enterprise and HR, to ensure timely pin-house workplace practicum for all the participants at the conclusion of the cohort . This includes providing training to identified store facilitators.
Recruit and screen program participants , based on eligibility requirements and readiness to learn.
Participant evaluation through out the program , including identifying areas of improvement and support needed in achieving success , as well as providing coaching and support needed by the participants during in-house practicum.
Maintain updated and complete records of participants intake, evaluations, placements, statistics, and demographic data.
Training development, evaluation, and delivery.
Maintain, review and update training curriculum and materials.
Planning and organizing Graduation celebration for successful program participants.
Working closely with Mar Com in promoting WINS Employment Services programs within the community.
Build and maintain strong partnerships with WINS partner agencies.
Keep informed of current resources, tasks , changes in the community especially women’s and their families’ needs.
Maintain and update financial records, purchase materials and supplies required for program delivery, as well as maintaining within the projected budget for the year.
Maintain and ensure that all data are inputted in Salesforce in a timely manner. Provide and submit reports when required.
Tracks and measure outc omes and results against targets/goals.
Ensure that staff positively engage in and comply with all WINS ’ health & safety practices, procedures, and policies.
Supervise employment services employees, this includes hiring, training, performance management and reporting workplace injuries and incidents to human resources in a timely manner.
Promote WINS transparent leadership approach through open and honest communication in dealing with employees, funders, and other stakeholders.
Maintain [ program standards and follow all protocols and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Education
Minimum of bachelor’s degree related to adult learning, training or education.
Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar role, or 5 years experience in employment services settings . Experience in non-for-profit social programming is considered an asset.
Solid and positive experience with cultural diversity and inclusion in a programs’ setting.
Experience working with marginalized and diverse populations and an understanding of issues that may impact women in crisis and/or in low-income situations.
Working know ledge in the warehouse and or retail industry including identifying skills required to be a successful employee is preferred.
