Recovery-Focused Coordinator

Position: Recovery-Focused Living Coordinator
Lead recovery initiatives in Calgary as a Supportive Living Coordinator with CMHA. This part-time role focuses on empowering individuals facing mental health and addiction challenges from Thursday to Saturday.

As a Supportive Living Coordinator, you will engage directly with clients to provide trauma-informed support and develop service plans that prioritize their health and well-being. You will implement structured programming aimed at enhancing daily living capabilities while fostering a safe and respectful atmosphere conducive to recovery. Strong communication and crisis management skills are essential for navigating this dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and update individualized Service Plans with clients

• Facilitate workshops and skills training sessions

• Implement effective crisis intervention strategies

• Ensure ongoing documentation of client interactions

• Organize community resource navigation and referrals

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or relevant diploma in a human services field

• Two years’ experience in residential mental health support

• Proven skills in crisis de-escalation and risk assessment

• Current ASIST and CPR certifications required

• Willingness to work flexible evening hours
