Position: Compassionate Program Support Worker Role
Join YW Calgary as a Program Support Worker to provide essential daily support for women in need. This role emphasizes trauma-informed care and helps cultivate a nurturing community environment.

As a part of the interdisciplinary team, your responsibilities will include guiding women facing poverty, addiction, and mental health difficulties in their journey to stable housing. By building trusting relationships, you will assist in conflict resolution, crisis intervention, and accessing vital services. Ensure timely documentation and provide support to clients during their transitions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create welcoming and inclusive spaces for clients

• Support emotional needs through compassionate care

• Facilitate access to resources and services

• Manage documentation, including critical incidents

• Assist in program evaluation through data entry

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Social Work or equivalent

• 1-2 years' experience in relevant fields

• Preferred training in trauma-informed practices

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Knowledgeable in data systems and reporting tools
