Youth Program Facilitator

Position: Youth Program Facilitator Role
Join The Salvation Army as a Youth Program Facilitator in Calgary, working with children ages 6 to 12 in a full-time capacity. Create an engaging and safe environment tailored to diverse needs.

This position involves designing and facilitating programs while working closely with other service providers and volunteers. You will maintain an organized inventory of resources and ensure that accreditation standards are upheld, all while promoting inclusivity and support for the children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop tailored programs for children aged 6 to 12

• Work collaboratively with community service providers

• Manage and support program volunteers

• Collect and report program statistics monthly

• Conduct evaluations and feedback sessions for improvements

Requirements:

• Two-year college diploma in child development or similar

• At least three years of experience in program facilitation

• Valid standard first aid and CPR certification

• Knowledge of child protection laws

• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
