Automation Engineer

We are looking for a seasoned Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Java-based automation frameworks, API testing, and database validation. The ideal candidate will work closely with QA, development, and product teams to design and maintain scalable, reliable automated test solutions across multiple layers of the application.

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks using Java
• Build and execute automated test scripts using Selenium
• Perform API automation testing (REST services) using tools/frameworks like Rest Assured
• Conduct SQL testing and database validation to ensure data integrity
• Perform end-to-end automation across UI, API, and backend layers
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with developers for resolution
• Ensure test coverage, maintainability, and performance of automation suites
• Mentor junior automation engineers and contribute to best practices

• 8+ years of experience in test automation
• Strong hands‑on experience with Java
• Expertise in Selenium Web Driver
• Solid experience in API testing & automation
• Strong knowledge of SQL testing and database testing
• Experience with test frameworks (TestNG / JUnit / Cucumber)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, etc.)
• Strong understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC)
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
