The OpportunityWe're looking for curious, motivated Student Software Developers (3rd or 4th year) to join us for Spring 2026. This isn’t a “sit in the corner and watch” internship. You’ll contribute to real features used by real customers while learning from experienced developers who care about mentoring the next generation of tech talent. If you’re excited about full stack development, AI-enabled products, and solving meaningful industry problems, keep reading.
What you’ll be doing- Collaborate with experienced developers and product experts to build software solutions for the energy industry
- Write code across the full stack from front-end interfaces to database design
- Create and and maintain Aba Data features and functionality
- Participate in code reviews, stand-ups, and get hands‑on mentorship from senior developers
- Test, troubleshoot, and debug software to a high bar of performance and reliability
- 3rd or 4th year Computer Science or Engineering student
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JS frameworks (e.g. React, Dojo)
- Exposure to back‑end development (e.g., C#/.NET, Node.js)
- Experience with MS SQL Server or relationship databases is an asset
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and attention to detail
- Personal or school projects you’re proud of (Git Hub links welcome)
- Interest in geospatial data, mobile‑first applications, or applied analytics
- A full‑time paid hourly student internship for either a 4‑month or 8‑month term
