Join the Grid Foresight Lab team at the University of Calgary for this 12-month position focused on innovative electric energy systems. With at least 2 years of full-stack development experience, you will excel in Python, Node.js, and React.js. Collaborative teamwork is essential as you troubleshoot and implement technical solutions for researchers and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain frontend and backend applications
• Design APIs and database integrations for enhanced software functionality
• Collaborate with stakeholders for troubleshooting and reliability improvements
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization
• Support deployment and maintain operational environments
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or similar
• Minimum 2 years of full-stack software development
• Proficiency in Python, Node.js, and React.js
• Experience with SQL databases, especially PostgreSQL
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
