Position: Full Stack Developer )

Role Overview

Capgemini is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join its technology team and support the design, development, and delivery of scalable, cloud‑native enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience across front‑end (React) and back‑end (Java/Spring Boot) development, with exposure to AWS cloud, CI/CD pipelines, and modern Dev Ops practices. The role requires close collaboration with cross‑functional teams in a distributed agile environment and offers the opportunity to contribute to mission‑critical systems within a large enterprise landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Front‑End (UI - ReactJS)

  • Develop, debug, and maintain responsive and user‑friendly web applications using React.js.
  • Write clean and modular UI code using JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS

  • Implement and manage application state using Redux or Context API.
  • Build reusable UI components and ensure consistency across applications.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate design concepts into technical implementations.
  • Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and usability.
  • Ensure cross‑browser compatibility, responsiveness, and accessibility standards.
  • Implement and execute UI testing using frameworks such as Jasmine and Karma.

Back‑End (Java / J2EE)

  • Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Spring Boot.
  • Maintain Swagger/OpenAPI contracts and stay current with core Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud technologies.
  • Develop unit tests and integration tests using JUnit and mocking frameworks.
  • Work with relational and non‑relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar.
  • Build and deploy cloud‑native microservices on AWS, utilizing services such as S3, Lambda, EC2, ELB, API Gateway, and Cloud Watch.
  • Develop and manage Docker images for Spring Boot microservices.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git‑based workflows.
  • Collaborate within a distributed agile model and contribute to continuous improvement practices.
  • Demonstrate understanding of .NET API layer integration.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following enterprise best practices.

Good to Have

  • AWS Certification (Associate or higher)
  • 2+ years of experience using AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., Git Hub Copilot)
  • Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with GraphQL
  • Exposure to Domain‑Driven Design (DDD) principles
  • Experience working in large enterprise organizations
  • Prior technical lead or leadership experience
  • Prior experience in regulated industries such as Oil & Gas, Energy, or Utilities
  • Familiarity with industry standards, governance, and compliance requirements in the Oil & Gas sector
  • Proven ability to work within large, complex enterprise ecosystems and collaborate with business and operations stakeholders
Compensation

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is CAD $70,751 – $165,984. The range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini believes may be paid for the role at the time of posting and may change under applicable law.
