Position: Full-Time Senior Software Developer Position
Become a pivotal part of the University of Calgary as a Senior Software Developer for a limited term of 12 months. This role focuses on system analysis, development, and ongoing support for the university's applications.

In the Application Development group, you will implement technical solutions that address both new and existing application needs. This position combines your analytical skills with technical expertise, contributing significantly to strategic projects and enhancing university services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support application delivery by consulting with client groups

• Lead development activities across application enhancements

• Create and explain design solutions to team members

• Develop and maintain project plans to monitor progress

• Ensure quality through code reviews and documentation

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science with at least 7 years of experience

• Comprehensive understanding of systems architecture

• Proven experience in software development methodologies

• Strong communication skills with technical and business teams

• Knowledge in cloud architectures and continuous integration tools
