Become the key figure in firmware development at Haz Track, focusing on reliability and new feature integration for our field sensors. This hands-on role requires expertise in C, hardware integration, and LTE-M connectivity.

As a Firmware Developer in Calgary, you will take charge of maintaining our production firmware and drive the development of innovative capabilities that match our product roadmap. Your experience in low-level programming and cellular IoT will play a vital role in enhancing the functionality and connectivity of our devices. Collaboration with both hardware and engineering teams will be essential in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of firmware development and maintenance

• Integrate new hardware revisions seamlessly with firmware

• Debug network and connectivity issues in the LTE-M stack

• Design and execute comprehensive test plans for validation

• Align firmware capabilities with company roadmap

Requirements:

• Hands-on firmware experience in C on STM
32 microcontrollers

• Proficiency with LTE-M connectivity and AT command sets

• Expertise in debugging hardware/firmware boundaries

• Experience with test plans for embedded systems

• Understanding of power management in battery-operated devices
