.NET Software Developer

Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a .NET Software Developer in the Utilities in a hybrid work environment in Calgary, Alberta. seeking an Intermediate .NET Software Developer to join our team on a contract basis, reporting directly to the project’s Tech Lead. You will work on an internal web application designed to streamline and improve processes for our transportation team, covering aspects such as rail logistics, fleet management, and invoice reconciliation

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web application features using C#, ASP.NET Blazor, and Entity Framework.
• Design and optimize SQL Server database solutions to ensure data integrity, security, and performance.
• Integrate application functionality with Microsoft Azure services for hosting, storage, and security.
• Use Azure Dev Ops for Git source control and work/sprint planning, contributing to a structured and efficient development process.
• Collaborate with the Tech Lead and other team members to understand project requirements and deliver well-designed, high-quality solutions.

• Proven experience in software development with a focus on .NET web applications.
• Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Blazor, Entity Framework, SQL Server, HTML, and CSS or similar transferable skillsets.
• Experience with Azure, including deployment and management of web applications.
• Familiarity with Azure Dev Ops for Git source control and work/sprint planning.

• $70.00 - $87.50 hourly
• Incorporated Payroll
• 6-month contract

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code and development of documentation.
• OWASP coding principles and familiarity with .NET security protocols is a nice to have.
