This co-op opportunity supports software features across web applications, cloud microservices, and distributed platforms. You will build responsive interfaces, RESTful APIs, and scalable backend services while learning practical engineering practices. Modern workflows include Git, Linux, containerization, and automated testing.
Key Responsibilities:
Design software features across web applications and distributed platforms
Develop responsive user interfaces and RESTful APIs
Build scalable backend services for software platforms
Test and debug code using automated testing workflows
Collaborate with agile engineering teams on software delivery
Requirements:
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate computing or related degree
Programming skills in Type Script, Python, Go, Java, or C/C++
Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design
Familiarity with HTTP, RESTful APIs, Linux, and Git
Expected enrollment continuation after the co-op work term
Build maintainable software through programming, APIs, testing, and agile collaboration as a Cisco Software Developer Co-op.
