G Adventures is the world’s largest small-group adventure travel company. We are hiring and training Driving Chief Experience Officers (Driving CEOs) to guide and drive epic Canadian road trips, delivering experiences that encompass camping in national parks, exploring cities big and small, and bonding with a group of young people from around the world.
Responsibilities- Safely drive long distances and take responsibility for the group’s safe travel, including checking tires and fluids.
- Operate as a proven leader, managing group dynamics, different personalities, and cultures.
- Communicate effectively in a wide range of contexts and solve problems proactively (e.g., changing tires, handling injuries, managing a budget).
- Provide customer service that puts passengers first and maintains a positive, professional demeanor.
- Demonstrate awareness of and commitment to sustainable tourism, serving as an inspiring example to travelers.
- Collaborate with team members and contribute to G Adventures’ culture and goals.
- Meet eligibility requirements: at least 21 years of age, valid driving license, clean driving record, and eligibility to work in Canada.
- Safe driver capable of driving long distances and responsible for group safety.
- Valid category 4 driver’s license (allows driving up to 15 passengers).
- Professional, driven, team-oriented, and customer-service minded.
- Ability to communicate effectively in diverse contexts.
- Calm under pressure with problem-solving skills (e.g., repairs, injuries, budgeting).
- Willingness to work within a dynamic, travel-focused environment.
- Infectious love of America and the outdoors; willingness to share in G’s culture.
- Commitment to environmental and cultural responsibility in tourism.
