- Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
- Perform brake adjustments
- Perform emergency roadside repairs
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses
- Driver's License (Class 3 or
D) Documentation knowledge - Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip) Type of trucking and equipment
- Tow truck Transportation/travel information
- Valid driver's licence Work conditions and physical capabilities
- Physically demanding
- Repetitive tasks Weight handling
- Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Own tools/equipment
- Steel-toed safety boots Experience
- Will train
