Managers in Transportation NOC -Demand

• Activities directly involved in maneuvering, routing, and tracking transport vehicles, aircraft, or railroad cars.
• Plan, organize and manage subordinates to ensure work is completed and meets company standards.
• Conduct investigations to verify and resolve customer or shipper complaints.
• Collaborate with staff to develop and implement procedures related to transportation as well as company revenue and customer service goals.
• Organize periodic repair and maintenance of means of transport.
• Complying with transportation-related policies, as well as safety rules, union contracts, and government regulations.
• Promoting safe work activities by conducting safety audits, and attending company safety meetings.
• Making sure vehicles are properly maintained
• Inspecting vehicles
• Arranging repairs and routine maintenance
• Ensuring that all drivers and operators have the correct, up to date qualifications

• Proven work experience as a transportation manager, shipping director or similar roles
• Solid knowledge of supply chain management
• Experience in order picking and tracking
• Familiarity familiar with logistics software, such as Freight view and 3PLink
• Excellent organizational skills
• Employee training and supervision skills
• Problem solving ability
• High school diploma

Terms of Employment:

• Full time
• Permanent
• 40 hours per week
• Day, Evening, Shift, Overtime, Morning

Salary: $38.46 - $55.90 per hour
