This position is for a courier delivering packages on an assigned route for Federal Express Canada.
Responsibilities
Pickup and delivery of packages efficiently and courteously.
Check all shipments for conformance to Fed Ex Canada features of service.
Provide related customer service functions.
Requirements / Knowledge,
Skills and Abilities
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver license with good driving record.
Ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.
Minimum 1 year of customer‑oriented business experience preferred.
Must achieve a minimum threshold on mandatory pre‑placement driver assessment training.
Some knowledge of Federal Express Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations is an asset.
Good interpersonal, communication, time management and organizational skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to multitask, handle stress and work in a highly pressured environment.
Willingness to be flexible and work different schedules and holidays based on business needs.
Salary
This is a domicile position that starts and ends in Canmore. Starting wage $23.30.
