Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Sitdown Forklift Operator in a fast‑paced LTL Freight Cross Dock environment located in Calgary. This role involves operating a Sit Down Counter Balance forklift and handling a variety of freight tasks.

• Operate a Sit Down Counter Balance forklift effectively and safely.
• Assist with moving pallets and unloading/loading trailers with freight using the forklift.
• Engage in hand bombing/moving product by hand, lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Handle bills of lading and other paperwork throughout the shift.
• Assist team members with unloading paperwork and clean up the yard as needed.

• At least 1 year of experience operating a sit down counter balance forklift.
• 1 year of experience in loading and unloading trailers using a forklift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
• Adaptability to fast‑paced environments with ease in switching tasks.
• Possession of a valid forklift ticket (in‑house or private; if expired, training available prior to start date).

• Possession of a safety vest is strongly recommended.
• Experience with leadership roles is an advantage.
• RF scanner experience is beneficial.
• Familiarity with waybills and bills of lading is preferred.
• TDG and WHMIS training (Aerotek can provide training prior to starting).

Pay range: $24.75 – $24.75 per hour.
