Pool Pilot

Position: Full-Time Pool Pilot at STARS
Become a crucial part of the lifesaving efforts at STARS as a Pool Pilot. This full-time position demands flexibility in scheduling and provides an exciting chance to work across multiple bases.

STARS is on the lookout for a skilled Pool Pilot to join our mission of delivering critical care. Ideal candidates are required to have a Commercial Rotary Wing License and a minimum of 1000 hours helicopter experience. This role demands mobility to act as Pilot in Command or Second in Command across various bases, ensuring patient care whenever necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely pilot STARS aircraft under all conditions

• Maintain aviation medical certification and proficiency

• Stay current with regulations and training standards

• Ensure compliance with licensing requirements

• Provide support for emergency evacuations and patient transport

Requirements:

• Current aircraft captain or upgrade eligibility within 6 months

• Valid Commercial Rotary Wing License

• Minimum 1000 hours helicopter experience

• Night/IFR experience preferred

• Valid Class 1 medical certification
