Class 1 Truck Driver - Flatdeck

Position Summary

We are looking for talented dedicated Class1 Truck drivers with exceptional customer service to join our fleet.

Location: Calgary, AB

• Schedule: Monday to Saturday
• Start Time: 6:00AM – 3:30PM
• Delivering materials locally and on short‑haul highways
• Flatdeck experience preferred (tandem axle straight truck, curtain side with Moffett)

• Drive within Calgary and surrounding areas.
• Conduct routine inspections prior to departure to ensure vehicle is in optimal condition.
• Manage cargo documentation and provide necessary paperwork upon delivery.
• Coordinate loading and unloading, verify cargo, and ensure secure storage.
• Maintain contact with dispatcher to provide status updates, clarify special instructions, and notify about delays or issues.

• Valid Class1 license.
• Clean 5‑year commercial driving abstract (no more than 3 demerits and 3 negative events).
• Minimum 1 year of highway experience.
• Experience with straight truck / curtain side.
• Moffett experience.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Comfortable with smartphone technology.
• Reliable, flexible, punctual, and secure driving behaviors.
• Comfortable backing in all manner of tight spaces and locations.
• Must be bondable and legally able to work in Canada.
