BAAC Construction needs a Fleet Coordinator in Calgary, Alberta to uphold our high standards in fleet management. This role emphasizes compliance with national safety regulations and effective maintenance oversight.
As the Fleet Coordinator, you will be a key player in ensuring our fleet of vehicles and equipment is compliant with regulations and ready for safe operation.
Your role involves managing detailed records, supporting maintenance planning, and coordinating with drivers and vendors. The ideal candidate will be proactive, highly organized, and experienced in compliance systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer fleet safety compliance and audit readiness
• Coordinate maintenance and inspection of vehicles
• Maintain organized documentation for driver qualifications
• Support procurement and inventory management
• Monitor fleet performance and compliance gaps
Requirements:
• 5+ years in fleet operations or management
• Proficiency in National Safety Code and CVIP requirements
• Experience with commercial vehicle maintenance
• Familiarity with ELD systems and Geo Tab preferred
• Strong computer skills in recordkeeping
