Light Duty Wrecker Operator

As a Light Duty Wrecker Operator at City Wide Towing, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional towing and recovery services to our clients. This position requires a commitment to safety, customer satisfaction, and the ability to operate various towing equipment effectively. • Operate towing vehicles safely and efficiently to recover vehicles as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients during their time of need.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on towing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding job status and updates.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while on the job site.
• Assist with minor automotive repairs when necessary.
• Use and manage E‑Logs.

• Minimum Class5 Driver’s License.
• Proven experience in customer service roles, preferably in the automotive or towing industry.
• Solid knowledge of Calgary and the surrounding area.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain records and provide reports.
• Recent criminal record check (employer‑paid).
• Recent driver’s abstract (employee‑paid).
• Must pass drug, alcohol, and fit‑to‑work test.
• Able to work independently and with a team.
• Legally entitled to work in Canada.
• Must have reliable transportation to get to and from the office.

• Air brakes certification is an asset (Q endorsement).
• Towing experience (training provided for the right candidate).

• Perform moderate to heavy tasks for long periods of time.
• Work primarily outdoors in all weather.
• Lift/push/pull up to 100lbs regularly.
• Travel may include local, provincial, and inter‑provincial routes.
• May assist at accident scenes with emergency personnel.
