First Officer

Position: Sunwest Aviation First Officer Role
Take to the skies as a First Officer with Sunwest Aviation Ltd., a top-tier aviation operator in Western Canada. Engage in dynamic flying with a wide range of jet and turboprop aircraft under a strong safety framework.

In this First Officer position, you will be responsible for a variety of flight operations while strictly following Transport Canada regulations. Candidates must have a valid Airline Transport Pilot Licence and a solid flying record with at least 1000 hours total time, including 500 hours in multi-engine aircraft. Flexibility is crucial, given the demands of aircraft schedule management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute all necessary pilot duties on designated aircraft

• Follow stringent safety protocols and company policies

• Adapt to aircraft scheduling based on operational demands

• Carry out other assignments from the Chief or Deputy Chief Pilot

• Ensure compliance with all licensing and currency requirements

Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Canadian passport

• Capable of traveling to the U.S. for professional training

• Successfully pass a criminal background check

• At least 1000 total flight hours

• Strong organizational and communication skills
