Overview  Step into a critical role at a major transportation hub where your expertise dictates the flow of the entire facility.
We are looking for an independent forklift pro who knows the art of LTL loading to run our cross‑dock floor with absolute autonomy. Skip the morning traffic, keep your weekends entirely to yourself, and start working with us immediately.
Responsibilities   Safely operate a Sit‑Down Counterbalance forklift to move LTL freight across the dock.
Load and unload various types of trailers, ensuring weight distribution is balanced.
Work independently to prioritize shipments based on departure times.
Scan and track freight using handheld devices to maintain 100% inventory accuracy.
Identify and report any damaged goods before they are loaded for transport.
Maintain a clean and organized dock floor to ensure a safe transition for the morning crew.
Qualifications   Valid Forklift Ticket/Certification (Required).
12+ years of experience operating a Sit‑Down Counterbalance forklift.
Previous experience with LTL (Less Than Truckload) freight is a major asset.
Must hold a valid Sit‑Down Counterbalance forklift license and have a reliable way to travel to our Southeast Calgary location.
Must have CSA‑approved steel‑toed boots and high‑visibility gear.
Must be available for afternoon training before moving to the regular night shift.
Reliable, self‑motivated mindset that thrives on independence and takes pride in a job well done.
Ready to commit to a steady Monday‑to‑Friday afternoon shift (2:00PM to 10:30PM) and available to start right away.
Compensation & Benefits   $22.00–$23.00 per hour with consistent weekly pay.
Monday‑to‑Friday shift: 2:00PM to 10:30PM.
Free on‑site parking at our convenient Southeast Calgary location.
