Take on a rewarding challenge as a Pool Pilot are looking for dedicated pilots to provide critical air support while working on a flexible schedule across our bases.
This full-time role involves becoming a vital part of STARS' lifesaving operations. Candidates must be prepared to become familiar with various aircraft and maintain a high level of fitness and readiness. Flexibility is key as all pilots may be called upon to fly patients at a moment's notice, emphasizing the importance of teamwork in emergency situations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate specialized STARS aircraft
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Maintain currency with pilot training and standards
• Complete necessary means to serve as Pilot in Command
• React swiftly to emergency transport needs
Requirements:
• License requirements including current Captain rating
• 1000 hours of helicopter flight time
• Group 4 Instrument and Night ratings required
• Ability to successfully complete security assessments
• Immunization records must be up to date
