Position: National Diabetes Trust Truck Driver Role
Support the mission of the National Diabetes Trust as a Truck Driver, collecting waste from donation bins. Enjoy working with up to 29 hours weekly on a set schedule.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will drive 3-ton trucks to manage garbage collection efficiently. This role demands map-reading skills and the ability to lift loads responsibly. Daily inspections and thorough paperwork are key responsibilities in maintaining operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive collection routes to retrieve dumped items

• Conduct vehicle checks and complete logs

• Engage with dispatch at required checkpoints

• Provide feedback on route issues as necessary

• Ensure safe unloading of merchandise according to guidelines

Requirements:

• Must have Grade 12 education or equivalent

• Full Class 5 or G driver's license is essential

• 5 years of driving experience or 2 with training

• Recent clean driver abstract required

• Organizational skills and communication proficiency
