Afternoon Forklift Operator

Become a Forklift Operator at our LTL Cross Dock in Calgary, focused on safely operating sit-down forklifts during the afternoon shift.

Your role involves loading trailers, moving freight, and ensuring organized operations.

This contract position operates from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., within a fast-paced LTL freight environment. As a Forklift Operator, you'll manage logistics, assist with paperwork, and maintain a clean dock area, working alongside a dedicated team. Your attention to safety and efficiency will directly impact overall operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate sit-down counterbalance forklifts for loading and unloading

• Move pallets and freight accurately within the dock

• Manually handle freight up to 50 lbs as needed

• Maintain organized shipping documentation throughout the shift

• Help ensure a clean and safe dock environment

Requirements:

• At least 1 year forklift operation experience

• Valid forklift ticket required prior to starting

• Strong ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly

• Familiarity with shipping paperwork essential

• Proven teamwork skills to support dock operations
