Ready Mix Drivers are responsible for the primary day-to-day delivery of Ready Mix Concrete to job sites within the Medicine Hat Area, homeowner and industry clients. In this role as a Ready Mix Driver, you will be responsible for customer relationships, giving great service with a friendly attitude to ensure customers receive a high‑level delivery and product from Amrize. This is a customer‑facing role that requires a service‑oriented mindset and a highly professional approach.

• Maintain equipment by doing daily pre and post‑trip inspections, keeping equipment clean inside and out.
• Build and maintain relationships of trust with customers in the assigned geography and own their satisfaction.
• Provide consistent and reliable customer service through delivery, maintaining a positive, hassle‑free experience for Amrize customers.
• Navigate the city of Medicine Hat and surrounding areas to ensure on‑time deliveries.
• Maintain robust working relationships with logistics, operations teams, and fellow operators.
• Have a flexible schedule, including different shifts, weekends, and evenings.
• Understand traffic rules, regulations for commercial vehicles, and be courteous on the road.
• Operate electronic devices (tablets, GPS, etc.).
• Receive the Amrize Ready Mix Training Program.
• Commit to communication, continuous improvement, and adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies, promoting a culture of safety.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Class 3Q (Air Brakes) or Class 1Q – 5‑year driver abstract. Required to be sent in with the resume.

Preference given to those with construction and heavy equipment experience. Understanding of the building materials industry, including product knowledge, is an asset.

• Ability to drive a manual‑shift truck transmission (not the same as a car).
• Construction and off‑road experience is an asset.
• Knowledge of the city of Medicine Hat.
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform tasks on electronic devices such as tablets.
• Relationship‑building with external customers and internal Amrize personnel.
• Problem solving and decision making.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong sense of teamwork.
• Can lift >50 lbs.
