Shipper Receiver

Position Overview

Shipper Receiver at Calmont Truck Centre, Calgary, AB. This is a full‑time, permanent position. Compensation ranges from $18.00 to $22.00 per hour. The role includes a competitive benefits package.

• Oversee the loading and unloading of goods.
• Prepare bills and invoices, and check incoming shipments against packing slips.
• Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods.
• Assemble containers and crates, pack goods to be shipped and prepare identifying information and shipping instructions.
• Maintain bin storage system, unpack and route goods to appropriate storage areas.
• Apply return standards to customer returns to properly classify them according to core vendor programs.
• Maintain files for trucks, UPS, Purolator, air and other shipments.
• Maintain shipping, warehouse and stock rooms ensuring clean, neat area and efficient space/shelving usage.
• Operate forklift to load, unload, transport and store goods.
• Treat internal and external customers with courtesy, respect, and in accordance with company policy.
• Perform other duties as required.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1 year of related work experience.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
• Forklift certification considered an asset.
• Self‑starter with the ability to prioritize and organize workload.
