Join Purolator as a Part Time Sorter in Red Deer, AB, and handle various freight tasks during the early morning shift. Work Monday to Friday from 05:45 to 09:45.
This role involves unloading freight, scanning shipments, and loading delivery vehicles efficiently. Candidates will apply proper scan techniques and must thrive in a time-sensitive environment. Attention to operational standards and team collaboration is essential to succeed in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor
• Load freight into delivery trucks or trailers
• Preload mail and packages into delivery vehicles
• Scan all mail and packages for sorting accuracy
• Transfer bulk items manually as needed
Requirements:
• Ability to lift and carry 70 lbs.
• Must work with urgency in a fast-paced setting
• Team-oriented mindset with a focus on quality
• Successful background checks required
• English proficiency is necessary
