Under the responsibility of the Logistics Supervisor, the Delivery Driver is responsible for the delivery of pre-sales orders and pick up of returned products by providing superior customer service. In addition, this position also acts as a back up to the Sales Representative in the collection of checks process
Essential Functions- Responsible to drive a delivery van in a safe and responsible manner. Conduct pre and post vehicle inspection
- Responsible to deliver products to our clients/customers and provide superior customer service
- Collect products for returns according to instructions and provide the customer a credit note
- Conduct pre and post vehicle inspection
- Complete the administration and paperwork
- Record order discrepancies and inform the Dispatch Office for resolution (adjustment transactions)
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Ability to drive a delivery van in a safe and responsible manner. Safety as first priority required
- Capacity to drive in all-weather conditions and temperature changing environment required
- Must be able to frequently lift/carry 35 lbs. for 8 to 10 hours daily required
- Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors) required
- Demonstrates customer service skills required
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team required
- Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills required
- Highly thorough and dependable Must have professional appearance required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required
- Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices required
- H.S. Diploma/GED preferred
- Must have a minimum of 9 months verifiable driving experience required
- Must not have more than 1 moving violation or accidents (anything other than parking) in the last 12 months required
- Drive a delivery van in a safe and responsible manner expert required
- Valid Driver's License (G/Class
5) required
