Position: Class 5 Driver for Donation Collections
Become a Class 5 Truck Driver with the National Diabetes Trust, driving up to 29 hours weekly to facilitate crucial charitable donation pickups and community engagement.

As a key member of our team, you will drive trucks to collect gently used clothing and household items from designated bins and residents' homes.

Your role will involve ensuring compliance with safety regulations, maintaining vehicle logs, and providing excellent service to our donors, all while supporting a vital cause in local communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate vehicles on established collection routes

• Complete necessary vehicle inspections and logs

• Handle all associated paperwork accurately

• Communicate effectively with donors and dispatch

• Unload and deliver items as directed

Requirements:

• Hold a Full Class 5 driver's license or higher

• At least 5 years of driving experience

• Clean driver abstract with no recent violations

• Capability to lift 10-50 lbs loads

• Positive public image and excellent communication skills
